Area 51 has adjusted it’s schedule to improve reception for our valued shortwave listeners. Starting Sunday, November 16, 2008, Area 51 will be heard daily from 6 to 8 PM eastern time (2200 to 0000 UTC) on WBCQ 5.110 MHz. You can always get the current Area 51 schedule and lots of other goodies at www.worldmicroscope.com.

Trailer Trash Radio, heard on Sundays from 3 to 4PM eastern time on WBCQ 7.415, is being taken over by Radio Jamba International for their Sunday, November 16 broadcast.

WBCQ To Air Live Election Coverage on 5.110

As a service to our valued shortwave listeners, WBCQ will be providing live election coverage on our 5.110 MHz service on Election Night, Tuesday, November 4, 2008, from 9PM to midnight election time (Wednesday, November 5, 2008, 0200 to 0500 UTC).

Commander Bunny/Kracker Victory Special on Area 51

On Wednesday night, November 5, 2008, from 7-9PM on WBCQ 5.110 MHz, Commander Bunny and Kracker will hold their nationwide victory celebration and start the process of removing the corrupt monkeys who now occupy the White House and replacing them with Commander Bunny - Kracker supporters!

Trailer Trash Radio

Our friend and fellow broadcaster Freddy has tipped us off that he’s replaying a very special rebroadcast of Trailer Trash Radio Episode 20 on Sunday, November 9, 2008, at 3pm eastern time, on WBCQ 7.415 MHz. This is a special tribute broadcast to the late, great Dennis Mochexx, who recently passed away.

Marion’s Attic Is Moving To A New Time Slot

This just in from Marion Webster.

To all of my listeners,

You have been very patient with me during the Winter months with no reception. It is just the way radio works on short wave. This has to change and it is very expensive for me to allow only the Moose in Monticello to hear my show.

The good news is I just got off of the phone with the owner of WBCQ, Allan Weiner. He is willing to move my program, Marion’s Attic, to a better time so my fans can hear it on their radio better during the Fall, Winter and early Spring months. The streaming audio will also change time too. Thank-you, Allan. You are a perfect gentleman.

The new time, effective IMMEDIATELY, is:

SATURDAY, 5:OO PM, EASTERN TIME ON 7.415 MHz !

My web site will be down for a while due to AOL Hometown going away. We will try to update our web site and find a new host soon. Thank-you for being loyal listeners all these years.
